Mystery lump

Over three years ago I noticed a pea sized lump in my area between the vagina and anus. A doctor checked it and said it was nothing so I figured it would go away on its own. Well it stayed and now it's the size of a large grape. It wasn't painful in the beginning but now my whole bottom area aches, and when I use the bathroom it has sharp stabbing pain. I have the constant urge to have a bowel movement and when I do it feels like giving birth. The last week or so it feels like pressure down there and my stools are thin pencil shaped. My bowel movements have increased from once a day to at least six now. Also I'm not sure if it's related or could help figure this out but I recently had an abnormal Pap smear and a positive hpv test. Someone said it was hemorrhoids but it doesn't itch at all.
Answers:

Hemorrhoids don't necessarily itch but they also wouldn't be in your perennial area and wouldn't remain there nonstop for years. They'd be about your anus. I'd see a doctor again and stress it has grown and it is painful and you are very concerned. Mention the change in bowel movements and the constant urge to go. The constant urge does sound somewhat consistent with a hemorrhoid because you hurt so you don't end up being able to finish, but if it is, you'll need to work on not straining during a bowel movement.
