Surgical Menopause and Migraines

At 21 yrs old my daughter has had dermoid cysts, blood filled cysts( that hemoriged) and both her ovaries and tubes removed. She had her first migraines after the first surgery for the dermoids and they've continued to get worse. Hormones seem to play a part as when she increases her progesterone, they reduce in number and severity. Any ideas? How much progesterone is too much? Concerned about side effects, what will happen to her if she goes off HRT all together or if she switches to bio-identicals or some other natural remedy. At 21 doesn't she NEED to take hormones?
